Following the huge success of 2017, Lucky Dumpling Market will return to the banks of the Torrens to celebrate the 2018 OzAsia Festival. Considered the social hub of OzAsia Festival, Lucky Dumpling Market invites festival goers and foodies to come and enjoy an array of authentic Asian cuisines and cultural experiences, all in one convenient location. Entry is free.
This season’s selection of Asian cuisines includes Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese and Indian.
Hungry festival-goers can also get a taste of the incredible entertainment on offer at OzAsia Festival, with free performances in the Lucky Dumpling Market from local and international bands, artists and DJs, including, Australia’s Gold Fields, Sophie Koh, The Yellow Peril Symphony and Moonta Street, India’s Grammy Award-winning Vikku Vinayakram and Kabir Café, Malaysia’s Nading Rhapsody, The Philippines’ Joey Ayala, Taiwan’s Freedom Beat + DJ Cheer, and Singapore’s Charlie Lim.
Lucky Dumpling Market’s prime location in Adelaide’s stunning Riverbank precinct, on the Convention Centre lawns is accessible from North Terrace adjacent the railway station, from Morphett Street, or wander south over the Oval footbridge and turn right – just look out for the colourful lanterns.
