Discover the new trail through this spectacular biodiversity hotspot, right in the heart of the city! Allow yourself and your kids to get lost in the sights, smells and sounds of this grassland paradise. If you’re lucky, you might even spot the rare Chequered Copper Butterfly, which shares an interesting relationship with the Rainbow Ant…but to find out more you’ll have to visit the trail yourself!
Activity booklets to accompany the trail can be picked up from the Customer Centre (25 Pirie St), SA Museum, cafés in the vicinity of Pakapakanthi / Victoria Park or online at cityofadelaide.com.au/grasslands before the end of October.
So, what are you waiting for? Reward yourself and your kids by getting into nature this spring and experience everything these special grasslands have to offer.
