The History Trust of South Australia today reopens the doors of two of its museums, with The South Australian Maritime Museum in Port Adelaide and The Migration Museum in the city open to the public from 10am.
As part of Step 2 of the South Australian Government’s road map to recovery for easing COVID-19 restrictions, a number of procedures have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of patrons, staff and volunteers.
Each museum will have a maximum capacity of 20 people within its buildings at one time, with the Maritime Museum scheduling 2 hour set session times for visitors. These sessions will include 2 hours of full access to the museum, exhibitions and galleries to ensure that all visitors can enjoy a full experience.
