New family friendly walking trail opened to Mount Lofty Summit
Steub Trail opened – from Cleland Wildlife Park to Mount Lofty Summit
An exciting addition has been made to the Mount Lofty ranges network of trails, with a new shared use trail officially opened for use, with a gentler incline especially designed to be accessible to families with small children, and people with reduced mobility.
Made possible by a generous bequest, the environment department has created a wonderful gentle walking trail with a very manageable incline, running from Cleland Wildlife Park, up to Mount Lofty Summit.
Beginning at Cleland Wildlife Park, The Steub Trail gently climbs through forest woodlands on its way to Mount Lofty Summit.

We all know the popularity of the Waterfall Gully to Mount Lofty Summit trail and this new trail is likely to become another favourite for South Aussies, especially families with small children and people with reduced mobility, and we give that the big KIDDO thumbs up!
