ACMA General Manager Jodie Kannane said,

“The Market’s new home delivery service will run in addition to current trading hours, giving customers who are unable to visit the opportunity to support local business and still have their favourite Market goods delivered in the comfort of home.”

“With a huge range of fresh produce and goods on offer, we’re very excited to now have our Market accessible online for weekly shoppers, delivering to those who may not be able to visit during trading hours,” she said. “It’s never been easier to support our local traders and the extensive network of producers and growers who supply the Market.”

The Market continues to be open for business in addition to the new service, trading Tuesday to Saturday including late nights on Friday.

WHAT’S ON AT KIDDO MARKETS

WHAT’S ON AT KIDDO MARKETS

What’s On at KIDDO Markets

If you made it last time you know what to expect and if you didn’t… you’re in for a treat!

The historic BRICK DAIRY at The Adelaide Showgrounds, Wayville will once again play host to our very own KIDDO Markets.

KIDDO Markets offers the ultimate day out for the family, with multiple activations and experiences all in an enclosed, safe and spacious environment.

Lume Yoga KIDDO Markets activation

The market is blessed with a large, indoor undercover area and an outdoor grassed treelined space, providing plenty of room for families and prams to navigate through an extensive product offering of Big and Little Makers, retailers and local businesses.

The retail selection ranges from beautiful handmade apparel, accessories and homewares, home décor, art, craft, Nature Play SA and sensory products. The makers and retailers are carefully selected to create a high-quality family friendly shopping experience like no other.

When it comes to entertainment, your little people will be spoilt for choice, with a range of free activities you can let them explore and experience everything from sports, art, theatre, craft, dance and entertainment.

Nylon Zoo

We have rounded up some of Adelaide’s best entertainment with internationally acclaimed Eco fabric artist Evelyn Roth, who will be bringing her incredible NYLON ZOO installation to KIDDO Markets. The inflatable NYLON ZOO story theatre has been seen and enjoyed at WOMAD for years and will now be bringing the magic and enchantment to the children at KIDDO Markets, as they dress up and listen to her stories about the environment and of the worlds endangered species. NYLON ZOO is truly an experience you don’t want to miss.

Children of all ages can fly like a bird, hop as a frog or rabbit, twirl in a rainbow cape, swim like a fish, bobble like a hoopla mushroom. The costumes fit all ages and are designed to make you move.

After a parade through the garden, children can enter the giant inflatable Leafy Sea Dragon and listen to a story.

Maximum 30 children per session.

Cirkidz

We will be bringing Cirkidz along to share their skills in mini classes and MOVE sessions by LUME Pilates.

The kids can get crafty with Little Picassos, take home a DIY canvas self-portrait with the team from Goodstart Early Learning, visit some four (and two) legged friends from Rainbow Animal Farm and test their driving skills on the VW Solitaire Mini Track… not to forget dig for dinosaur bones with the team from DIG-A-DINO. And, no market would be complete without FREE face painting and Stable Stars pony rides! Exhausted yet?

Then have a seat and watch a cooking demonstration by Annabel of Food By Annabel with produce supplied by Adelaide’s Finest Supermarkets; Frewville and Pasadena. The first 50 people to be seated on the day will receive a FREE AFS cooler bag.

There will be NO hungry tummies at KIDDO Markets with an extensive food offering delivering a range of delicious and healthy eating options from some of Adelaide’s favourites: PizzatecaOzzie GozlemeGang Gang, Coffee Peddler, The Old School Bus, Uber FoodCloud Theory MarshmallowsSunshine Ice Blocks and St Louis Ice Cream.

Christmas is around the corner, so we have teamed up with the charity MumKIND to accept donations for their Christmas Gift drive. You can bring along a new (unwrapped) gift from home or purchase something on the day to put under the tree. By donating a gift you will be helping to bring some joy and happiness to the lives of Adelaide families doing it tough this Christmas. Sharing is Caring.

So put it in your calendar, share it with your friends and meet us at KIDDO MARKETS: the family market place.
